My appreciation post for the negative people in my life

Anytime someone tells me I can’t do something, it makes me want to do it more. -Taylor Swift

Those negative people that told you were unable or didn’t have the ability to do the things that you wanted to accomplish in your life, you should be thankful for them because without their negative views and outlook on life, you wouldn’t have truly put in the effort to prove them wrong and let them know that you are capable of achieving your goals and doing what you want. I definitely know how it feels; those negative thoughts that you always find in your mind and you find yourself doubting and second guessing yourself. But, it solely depends on what you are going to do about it. Are you going to motivate yourself and complete your goals and go after your aspirations, or are you going to settle and listen to them and just do nothing about it? I don’t think the second choice is the best choice. My advice would be to sought after obtaining whatever objective that you were being doubted on. Go for it and give it all that you have. If you think you’re giving it your all now, push above your limits.

You’re limitless, boundless & free

People are always going to find something negative to say or do to tear you down and break you to pieces. Because they can’t bear looking at you achieving what they can’t or won’t. Don’t allow them to do that. It’s not worth it. No one can make you feel inferior without your consent. I know it is easier said than done. I am still emotionally sensitive and I’m going through obstacles, insults almost everyday, and I am continuing to work on ways to control that and how to let certain situations go. I think writing down my thoughts and feelings has helped me. So, I will continue to do that.

What I feel is that the reason behind why people be so negative and confrontational is ultimately due to the fact that they are not happy within themselves. They have inner feelings and negative views about themselves that they need to deal with and come to terms with. As a result, they take their inner frustrations and place them on someone else. Someone who has difficulty standing up for themselves.

You guys have become stronger and more confident because of the negativity that was brought upon you. You have learned how to persevere and look past it and continue to strive for the best. At the end of the day, it doesn’t matter what others say. What they say to you is only going to hurt them in the end, but it will benefit you. Keep on telling yourselves that you can do anything that you want to do if you set your mind to. You might have to do it a little differently but that doesn’t mean you are incapable of doing it. With that being said, keep it pushing and keep beating them to the punch line. Rise above them.

If I believe in you, you should start believing in yourself too.

Be proud. Be fearless. Be strong.
