2016 Most Anticipated Books

I know it is only November but I’m already dying for some of these books from my list. The bolder ones are my MOST ANTICIPATED books and the cursive ones are books that are highly anticipated from the YA community which I fined, meh. Or I haven’t read that particular series yet.

  1. Cruel Crown by Victoria Aveyard January 5th, 2016
So if you have not read the series Red Queen by Victoria A, WHAT IN THE WORLD ARE YOU WAITING FOR? This isn’t the sequel(sadly), its a novella for this series which, I am still very much excited for. It would be a preview before the sequel is out in Feb.

  2. Passenger by Alexandra BrackenJanuary 5th, 2016
If you don’t know Alexandra Bracken, she is quite known for the trilogy, The Darkest Minds and apparently, this is her first book in her latest series! Worth checking out.

  3. Stars Above by Marissa Meyer — February 2nd, 2016
You should know this. But if you don’t, this will be a compiled book of 6 short stories of all characters from The Lunar Chronicles series! Also 2 stories which have never been published. Also a sneak peak of her next, very much anticipated book, Heartless.

  4. Glass Sword by Victoria Aveyard (Red Queen #2) February 9th, 2016
Must I even say more about this????

  5. Riders by Veronica Rossi — February 16th, 2016
Author of wildly popular Under The Never Sky is back with the a new book from her new fantasy series!
  6. Calamity by Brandon Sanderson — February 16th, 2016
The third book of Brandon Sanderson’s Reckoners fantasy series. I haven’t read any of Brandon Sanderson’s books but I am getting The Rithmatist and Mistborn Trilogy soon! So I’ll definitely be checking this series out as well.
  7. The Raven King by Maggie Stiefvater — February 23rd, 2016
Very much anticipated by the YA community but it is one of my DNF’s. Somehow I can never connect to any of Maggie Stiefvater’s writing or books.
  8. A Gathering of Shadows by VE Schwab — February 23rd, 2016
Another much anticipated book by the YA community, the sequel to A Darker Shade of Magic.
    A Gathering of Shadows Final

  9. The Winner’s Kiss (The Winner’s Curse Trilogy #3) — March 1st, 2016
I only read the first book, The Winner’s Curse and I just find it okay. Did not continue with the second book and probably would not. But still its a pretty good and hype up book in the YA comm!

  10. Lady Midnight (The Dark Artifices #1) by Cassandra Clare — March 8th, 2016
Yes. This. Please release it already. Pretty Please.

  11. Lady Renegades by Rachel Hawkins — April 12th, 2016
The third installment in the Rebel Belle series. Read the first book and thought it was pretty cute. Haven’t got the chance to read the second one, but I might, soon.

  12. A Torch Against The Night(An Ember In The Ashes #2) — April 28th, 2016
The sequel to the very famous An Ember in The Ashes. I have not read this book and yes it is on my TBR a I am quite excited for this.

  13. A Court of Mist and Fury by Sarah J. Maas — May 3rd, 2016
The sequel to the very famous A Court of Thorn and Roses. I read it and I liked it, I wouldn’t say it’s my favorite, but I liked it and am excited for this sequel.

  14. The Rose and the Dagger by Renee Ahdieh — May 3rd, 2016
Another famous book sequel to The Wrath and The Dawn. I DNF the first book for some reason. I think it was either because of the writing or my mood when I read this at that time. May try reading it again someday.

  15. The Crown by Kiera Cass — May 3rd 2016
The very popular Selection series and this is the fifth installment! For some reason, this series reminds me of reality shows like The Bachelor and it made me lose interest in reading this series. But still, a lot of people loved it.

  16. The Unexpected Everything by Morgan Matson — May 16th, 2016
Author to one of the best contemporaries I’ve read,  Since You’ve Been Gone and Second Chance Summer. Very excited for this!!

  17. The Last Star by Rick Yancey — May 17th, 2016
I have been wanting to read this series for FOREVER. And I hope to read it before the movie comes out at least. Anyways, this is the third book in The Fifth Wave Trilogy and I’m super excited for this too!

  18. Crooked Kingdom (Six of Crows #2) — June 2nd, 2016
I just recently read the first book, Six of Crows AND LET ME TELL YOU, IT IS AMAYYYZING. If you haven’t read my review on my blog, go read it here. SO EXCITED FOR THIS SEQUEL.

  20. Heartless by Marissa Meyer — November 8th, 2016
If you don’t already know Marissa Meyer, I don’t know what planet you’re living on. This would be another fairy tale adaption of the famous, Alice In Wonderland AND IT JUST SOUNDS BEYOND AMAZING
